So far, Mother Nature has been a no show in the celestial displays catagory. We were in Dawson City (a really neat looking little town... old west style building, probably 100 years old or more some of them...) in time to view the eclipse, but the atmosphere got in the way: high clouds had moved in, blocking our view of the event. Glenn Wallace of Team Arctic Challenge even packed a telescope for the occassion (and to use at Eagle Plains on Friday night).
The Aurora Boreallis has also been abscent so far. We are going up to Inuvik today, so perhaps we will get to see some tonight.
